Born in 1952 in Mexico, to musician parents, Diemecke began to play violin at age six, and learned French horn, percussion, and piano at age nine. He studied at Catholic University in Washington D.C., and the Monteux School
Diemecke has guest conducted many major orchestras: the BBC Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, French National Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Russian National Orchestra.
He has been invited to many festivals, and also has experience as a composer and arranger.
